I often have sellers ask for my advice on what they need to replace or repair in order to list their homes. In today’s market, I don’t usually recommend spending money on new kitchen counters or cabinets, tearing down walls, or remodeling bathrooms. Rather, invest in things your potential buyers will see first when touring your home. The first impression is everything! Your front porch area is a great place to start. 

For a higher-end sale especially, spending a little more money on your exterior lighting will go a long way.
